Morgan Turns 1!!!

Today I went to my friend Morgan's birthday party. He is now one year old. His party was a lot of fun. First, we played with these huge baloons. They were so neat! Morgan liked them so much that when it came time to open his presents from all of his friends, he wanted to keep playing with the baloons. His mommy, Beth, helped him open his gifts. He got some clothes and a ton of toys. Mommy tried to get pictures of us playing together, but we gave her a hard time. Whenever we saw the camera coming, we scattered. It was funny.

Morgan is nearly walking now. He stood by himself at the coffee table. I can't wait to be like Morgan one day. He gave me a cool party favor! It is a light up frog and I love to bite it's legs.

Morgan had his own birthday cake. Everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' to him while he 'kicked back'. He had a Special #1 candle to blow out. Instead of blowing it out, he decided to pinch the flame. I think he thought about crying, but then realized he's a big boy now. All the big people got a kick out of his courage. Morgan was a little unsure about the cake at first. He started eating it slowly. To ensure a nice neat time, Morgan's daddy, Brian, covered the cake with Hershey's syrup. Yummy. He made a little bit of a mess and had to excuse himself for a bath.

I Want My Baby Back Ribs

This is the first time we shared real meat (vs. the pureed stuff) with Dub-J. He licked the bone clean. We had a great time watching him and playing along. He really enjoyed sharing his bone with Mommy. Fozzie was so jealous!!! Waylon is going to be a great Q'er someday... just like Daddy.

Daddy, Mommy and I went to Lynette's wedding to James. It was fun to see Tina and Brandy, Mommy's school friends. I tried, but I wasn't able to last all night. Congrats to the Berrys!

Our handsome Giant's fan has been watching Barry's race to become the all time Homerun Leader. Barry broke Hank's record by hitting his 756th homerun on Tuesday, August 7th.

Swim Lessons with Colton

Colton and Waylon took the Guppies swim class at the Redding Aquatic Center together. Colton had an awesome back float and Waylon's glides were rockin'! Here we all are with Erika and Ben... right before we (adults) jammed down the waterslide. We couldn't resist!
