Today I went to my friend Morgan's birthday party. He is now one year old. His party was a lot of fun. First, we played with these huge baloons. They were so neat! Morgan liked them so much that when it came time to open his presents from all of his friends, he wanted to keep playing with the baloons. His mommy, Beth, helped him open his gifts. He got some clothes and a ton of toys. Mommy tried to get pictures of us playing together, but we gave her a hard time. Whenever we saw the camera coming, we scattered. It was funny.
Morgan is nearly walking now. He stood by himself at the coffee table. I can't wait to be like

Morgan had his own birthday cake. Everyone sang 'Happy 
Birthday' to him while he 'kicked back'. He had a Special #1 candle to blow out. Instead of blowing it out, he decided to pinch the flame. I think he thought about crying, but then realized he's a big boy now. All the big people got a kick out of his courage. Morgan was a little unsure about the cake at first. He started eating it slowly. To ensure a nice neat time, Morgan's daddy, Brian, covered the cake with Hershey's syrup. 
Yummy. He made a little bit of a mess and had to excuse himself for a bath.
