Boom Boom

Today I fell down at school. I was playing on the big kids side of the room and was doing a lot of exploring. I climbed onto one of the toys and was having a blast. Next thing I know it I fell down the little stair and hurt my head on the hard floor. I cried for a long time and then I started playing and dancing after a while. Daddy came and took me to the Doctor because it was worse than my normal falls. Dr. Lagoc gave me some Motrin and said I looked ok. If I threw up, an ER visit was a must. I did just fine, besides being a little cranky. My bump on my forehead is the size of a quarter and I have a few marks on my left side of my forehead. Mommy iced my wound and it is better already! I'll be back on that climber in no time!!!

Caught Me!

Mommy caught me feeding Fozzie my dinner. I love to share with him. It is one of my favorite activities. We are going to be grrrrrreat friends!

Papa's Birthday

It's Papa Tom's birthday. We celebrated by eating Pizza and Cake at our house.

Cousin Drew sat in my Bumbo chair. I think he got stuck because he is a big big boy!

There were lots of candles on that cake... too many for me to count. Happy Birthday, Papa!

Drew played with my Deedle Bop Dino. He put the bottom wheel on his face and ended up with a shiner from it twisting and turning his skin. I don't know if he'll try that again. It made a welt. Mommy let Drew Shaboo use my Boo Boo Buddy and it helped the swelling.

The night ended with Papa feeding me a bottle. What a great guy, my Papa!!

We Can Post Video Now!!

Testing out the new video capability. This video is from when I was 4 1/2 months old. I was really good at sticking my tongue out.

I'm 9 Months Old!

We celebrated my nine month birthday by going to the doctor. Doesn't THAT sound like fun. I didn't have shots today, but I did have a finger prick to determine if I am anemic. The results show I'm not, so I'm happy about that. When Teresa poked my finger it hurt, and I cried. This was a real cry with tears, not to be confused with the fake cry I gave Mommy the other day when she wouldn't let me take her glasses from her face.

It was kinda cool sucking on the band aid until Mommy gave me my binky. Look they match!

Mommy and Avery made me feel better quickly and I was back to grabbing things in no time.

I weigh 20 lbs (~ 45th %tile) and am 28 3/4 inches tall (~75th %tile). Doc said I can drink more formula to try and keep the calorie intake a little more even with my excercise. Mommy and Daddy are chasing me everywhere now that I am crawling. I enjoy standing up by myself, like a big boy. It's so much fun. When Mommy came to pick me up from Daycare I gave her the biggest wave ever! I know she loved it because she was really excited.

My Daddy is an Empty Pitcher

Mommy and I went to watch Daddy and Uncle Crawdad play softball at Big League Dreams today. Daddy pitched and played outfield. He's my hero. I love watching him play softball. He's is on a great team called the Empty Pitchers. Today's game was close, but we had to take the loss. We'll get 'em next time... we always do!

Please visit the Empty Pitchers website to check out more photos... http://www.theemptypitchers.com/

Bathtime Fun!

Visit with Grandmaman

We went to see Grandaman in the hospital tonight. She is doing very well and should be discharged tomorrow. I showed Grandmaman how I clap my head and make funny sounds by patting the back of my hand against my mouth. I was a little tired from this weekend's travels, so we didn't stay long.

My First Bike Ride

Daddy couldn't wait any longer, so he purchased my chariot (a.k.a. bike trailer) today. Mommy put my helmet on so I could have my first ride. It was scary and I cried a little bit. Then Mommy & Daddy took me out for a bit. They tried putting me in the chariot without the helmet and it was kinda fun. We decided to try riding again, so I got suited back up. I threw a little bit of a fit, so Mommy brought Avery to me. I went for another ride and it wasn't so bad when I had company with me.

Lane's Birthday

Lane turned 3 this year. Daddy and I went to Lane's birthday party in the neighborhood park by their house. We gave Lane a megaphone for his birthday. Daddy likes to buy really loud gifts for John's kids.

Katie pushed me on the swing for the first time. I kicked back and enjoyed the ride.

Kadance and I sat on John's lap together. She is so cute in her frilly pink skirt.

Here's a big Wave!

Kadance is so sweet...she gave me a kiss. One of these days I'll kiss her back!

I watched the big kids hit the pinata. Check out Lane swinging!

Here is Lane gathering his candy. The pinata was weird because it was made out of Rat Poison boxes. Jerry Thomas stormed into WalMart to complain. This is pretty messed up. Everyone check your pinatas!!! It didn't ruin Lane's special day though.

Moving Brandy to Durham

We helped our friends Brandy and Jim move from Rocklin to Durham this weekend. While Mommy and Daddy were helping, they had to contain me in my pack 'n' play. I'm not so used to being in it, so I got a tiny bit upset. Mommy hung out with me most of the time. I made Mommy and Daddy laugh by pressing my face against the netting. Here I am playing with Daddy.

Here Daddy and Jim are taking the fridge through the small doorway. Woops... a few dings left behind. Lynette and Brandy were able to find the humor in it.

Once we got to Durham, I stayed up for a while and played with Abbey and Mason's toys. They were staying at their grandparents for the move. It was a long day and I crashed pretty good. Moving sure is tiring!

BBQ Time

My friends Colton, Redding Riley, and Landon (Tummy Baby) came over for a tri-tip BBQ. It was super yummy! I wish there was more time for 'Qing with our friends. We had tons of fun crawling around while our Mommies were chatting and the Daddies played horseshoes. Early in the evening, I got a smooch from Riley. Hubba hubba!!

Play Ball!

I've been keeping myself, Mommy and Daddy entertained by throwing my balls around. My favorite ball is my Orange ball. I know it by name and go get it when Mommy asks "Where is your Ball?" Daddy and Gramma Linda think I am so good at throwing the ball because I saw Daddy throwing footballs and softballs in the air. He's been doing this since I came home from the hospital... maybe even before my time!

Hike to Whiskeytown Falls

We left the house around 8:30am to go hike the new Whiskeytown Falls. We were really excited for the adventure.
We took a before picture of me, Daddy and Tarod. This was my first hike in my new carrier... and it was FUN!
Mommy and Tarod at their first water break. The uphill trek was difficult... but it was worth it once we got to our prize destination.
This picture doesn't do the steep terrain justice. Mommy's calves were burning. I'm not so sure that Fozzie would have made this one.
Pretty view of the creek along the way.

Here is Whiskeytown Falls - so refreshing and beautiful.

Yeah! We made it!

Oh yeah! Uh huh!

I love riding in the backpack.

Group picture at the base of Whiskeytown Falls.

We hiked up a narrow path to the end. We couldn't see the top of the falls. They seemed neverending.

Thanks for bringing me here, Daddy and Mommy.
Another shot of the Falls before heading home.

Snoozer baby managed to stay awake the entire way to the falls. Now it's relaxin' time on the way back.
