The Pumpkin Train

Today, I went on my first train ride with my family (Gramma Linda, Papa, Drew Shaboo, Auntie Carissa, Uncie Evan, Avery and Mommy and Daddy). The best part of the train ride was the destination... a pumpkin patch! Here's a picture of us with our pumpkin and a scarecrow.

When we first got to McCloud, we walked around the town and Uncie Evan showed me this wooden bear. I taught Uncie where the bear's nose was. After that, we walked over to the train station and we found this pile of leaves. Look at this leaf I found.

Cousin Drew and I had some fun in the leaves.

He even gave me a big hug!!

As we went closer to the train depot, we found lots of activities to do. I crawled through this tunnel trying to get to Mommy.

Here is Drew Shaboo sitting in one of the tents they had there, and he also dug in this graveyard for bones. He said they are dog bones.

Gramma and Papa played with me on the train ride. Here I am sitting in my own seat.

Mommy and Auntie

Daddy and Uncie.

Here is Papa with his favorite boys. Here is Drew Shaboo and his mommy.

When we got off the train, I pointed to all the pumpkins.... look Dada.

I liked the orange pumpkins, but I liked playing with the bark and rocks even more. I even snuck some into my mouth. It didn't really taste like my normal food.

We saw Isaiah and Rachel at the pumpkin patch. Here is Drew playing next to the forest.

Here is Mommy and Auntie with 2 of their favorite boys.

Gramma played with me on the hay bail at the patch.

Look at Drew's tummy tattoo

Drew is funny, look at him sitting on top of the pumpkins on the way home. Uncie Evan taught me how to beat the pumpkin like a drum. This is fun.

I enjoyed sitting on Papa's lap and looking out the window. There were lots of trees passing by.

Uncie had to carry Auntie's big pumpkin. She is carrying one in her belly. It's my little cousin, Nathan Henry.

Group shot after our train ride had ended.

Papa, Daddy, and Uncie were the pumpkin movers. Here they are walking them to the cars. After that, we went to the candy store and I got red and blue blinking suckers.

Little Climber

I have figured out how to get on the coffee table with no assistance from anyone and with nothing to climb on. Mommy and Daddy caught me. I thought that this was the best place to watch the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before we went on the Pumpkin Train. Now... if only I could figure out how to get down.

Hoopin' it up with Dada!

Tonight, daddy showed me how to shoot hoops after our walk to the park. I don't have my own, Waylon-sized basketball, so I got to use Daddy's gigantic basketball. In no time, I will be slam dunking on Daddy.

When we finished, it was on to dinner and bath-time. After bathtime, I took a step toward my Daddy while we were playing. Mommy and Daddy think I will start walking soon!!!

Dinner at Landon's

Tonight, I went to Landon's house and had some yummy food (thanks Don & Christine). I also got to hang out with all my friends. Grace, Sarah, and Colton were there. We played with the coasters, checked out Landon's new room, ate Christines famous Kahlua cookies, and played with cell phones. Colton is so close to walking. He can stand by himself for a really long time. He can do the "touchdown" move just like me!! I wanted to be held a lot as I have new teeth (#7 & #8) emerging. I really want to eat steak for my first birthday, so I'm hoping those teeth come in quick!

Watch out Tiger!

Here I am practicing my golf swing. I play golf everyday. Sometimes I like to sword fight with my clubs, but mostly I like to practice hitting the ball. My favorite club is my red putter. My balance is getting pretty good and I can almost stand and golf at the same time! Daddy counted a 10 second stand without support this week.

CAKE FIGHT!!!

We went to Auntie Reina's for Anna and Aubrey's birthday. I had a blast. I got to sit on a soccerball bean bag, just like my cousin Drew Shaboo. I also witnessed my first cake fight between Auntie Reina, Aubrey and Summer. It was crazy!! There was cake everywhere. Sorry
Aubrey, I think you lost. I definitely learned a thing or two and can't wait to take it to the high chair.

All Aboard my New Choo-Choo

I've done it! I've mastered the art of getting my parents to give me my birthday gifts early. Hopefully I can do it again at Christmas!! I mean, how could they resist my charm and good looks??? Today Mommy and Daddy gave me my 1st birthday gift early. It was the coolest thing ever! It's a Choo-Choo train and I am pushing it all around the house. There are so many buttons to push and songs to dance to. Mommy and Daddy did make the mistake of letting me have it right before dinner though. They tried to take me away from it to eat and I showed them... by refusing to eat. Didn't they know playing was most important at the time??? Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun toy!!

Meeting Christopher

I met Christopher for the 2nd time, today. He is my tummy baby friend - Landon's - 2nd cousin. He came into town for Landon & Christine's baby shower. He is 3 months older than me and is walking all over the place. Wow!! The first time we met, Elodia put us under an activity gym together and we cried at each other. We aren't baby's anymore, so we played together.

The girl in the picture is Morgan, Christopher's sister. She came to Chrstine and Landon's baby shower and won the Bingo Game. She really wanted to win the pumpkin prize... and she did it!! Christine received some really nice gifts, including a really soft blue puppy. Landon will have fun with this lovey.

Mattress fun!

I love to bounce up and down. My mattress is a good place to do that. After Mommy and Daddy bounced me on my mattress, Daddy thought it would be neat to see if I could climb up the mattress rested against the couch. I was up for the challenge and climbed all the way up to the couch. Then Mommy, Daddy and Gramma Carla watched me slide down (with a spotter of course). It was really fun and I laughed a lot.

Naked Pee-er

After my bath tonight, I cruised around naked and peed under my activity table. If any of my friends are reading this... you can play with the activity table still. Mommy cleaned it all up good.

Cruising... no folding here!

Recently I learned how to push the laundry basket around. I go pretty fast. Here I am giving Avery a ride around our house.

Practice Makes Perfect

Here I am practicing eating dessert with my spoon. I made a little bit of a mess. Practice makes perfect though... that's what Mommy says. It's also fun to make my face really dirty. Daddy thinks it's funny because no matter how hard he and Mommy try to clean my face, there is always something left over... just like a toothpaste mark on your clothes.

Auntie Carissa's Baby Shower

Carissa and Nathan Henry (my cousion Hank) received so many cool gifts at the baby shower today! If they need someone to make sure all the toys are good enough, I volunteer! There were so many awesome gifts!
I felt pretty special today because I was the only guy at Auntie Carissa's baby shower. I was getting so much attention from the ladies. Grandmaman rocked me to sleep and I was just in heaven.
Congratulations on my cousin to be... Uncie Evan, Aunti Carissa and Drew Shaboo!!

Getting in Good with the F.B.

Every day, I feed my best doggy friend, Fozzie. Fozzie likes it when I feed him. He follows me everywhere when I have food. I think he really likes me.

Me and My Papa!

Papa loves to hold me. He always makes me feel special when he calls me a Big Boy. He came over when we had Aunt Jacqueline over for dinner. Papa, Drew, Avery and I played a game where I threw Avery, and then Papa and Drew Shaboo would give Avery back to me. I loved it!!

My Serious Face

It has been really cold this week. I've been wearing a beanie to school each morning. Here I am with my beanie AND gloves. I'm sure there will be a lot of this over the winter. Last winter, I was so young that I didn't go out too much. I hope Mommy and Daddy take me to the snow this year.

Grampa Steve's #1 Fan

Today I got to see my Grampa Steve play music and sing downtown. It was awesome! I could listen to him all day! I'm so lucky to have such a talented Grampa. I hope I can make cool music when I grow up. I practice drumming on my empty formula containers. It definitely doesn't sound as nice as Grampa's music. I'll keep working on it!

Hats!

After Grampa's gig, we went to Village Schoolhouse. I played with so many toys there. I especially liked the horsey on springs. When Mommy stopped bouncing it, I decided I'd bounce it myself. I really got it going. Mommy and Daddy got a kick out of putting hats on me. Am I an Engineer (Mini-Daddy) or am I a Viking??
