The Tortoise and the Hare Visit Turtle Bay

Today I played the part of the Tortoise while Daddy played the part of the Hare!

We got out of our 'costumes' to look around the museum. There was a neat exhibit at the museum today. It was all about animals in the dark. There were lots of animals in the exhibit, including a huge bat. I pet the bat. I really liked acting like a jelly fish. I had to try and balance myself on this moving platform to see what it is like for a jelly fish to eat. I couldn't do it... I don't feel bad, Mommy couldn't do it either.
Here we are building a tall tower.

Uh-oh, down it comes!!!

After we saw the reptiles get fed, Daddy let me drive the truck. Isn't it 16 MONTHS when we are able to drive... oh... 16 YEARS. Woops!

I saw lots of big fish in the aquarium.

Whoa! This sturgeon is longer than me!!!

After we saw everything in the museum, we went to the Paul Bunyon playground. I was a little bit nervous about going through the rope tunnel. Luckily, I have the best Daddy ever and he went through the tunnel with me.

Great Grampa Jim's Birthday

Tonight we celebrated the birthday of my Great Grampa Jim (a.k.a. Grampa Coo Coo). I like going to his house. My Gramma Carla and I helped clean up the yard by putting the acorns in the pot. I broke sticks and threw them in the pot too!

One of my favorite things to do at Grampa and Gramma's is go through the backyard, through the gate into the front yard, around the walkway up to the door, and to knock on the door until someone lets me in. I'm amazed that they never figure out it's me. They are always happy and surprised to see that it is me knocking on the door.

Here we are singing Happy Birthday!

Mall Fun

They finally have some cool stuff at the mall! I met my friends Landon and Colton at the mall today and we checked out the new Turtle Bay play area. Our Mommies took a picture of us together on the slide.

I showed Mommy how I can slide by myself.

Colton and I went through the ant tunnel!

My First Time Bowling

I've been to the bowling alley many times, but today was special. I got to bowl this time! Usually I just hang out. I had a green ball. It was really heavy. Daddy and Mommy helped me bowl. I learned that you have to be very careful near the ball return. My Uncie Evan, Auntie Carissa, Drew & Hank, and Gramma & Papa were all there. After a little bowling, I played in the arcade with Mommy and Daddy.

Visit from Mason and Abby

We started our Saturday by going to Elite Gym to play around a bit. Here I am with Daddy making a block tower.

The fourth bock is the final touch.

The best part is knocking it down.

Daddy also let me try the Rings. I was really high in the air. I enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with Mommy and walking across the balance beam with Daddy.

Abby and Mason were at the gym too. Afterwards, their family came over to exchange Christmas presents (yes - we know it's March). Mason and I played with the spears.

Then Abby and I took a ride on the quad.

Look at the pretty pink gymnastics outfit Abby's Grammy gave her today.

Jump River and a Walk in the Park

Today, my friends and I met at the park. We played at Jump River, went for a stroll and had a picnic! I've told you about Landon and Colton before, but I have a new friend named Hannah who came with us.

Landon and I are ready to go!

Hannah and Colton were sharing her cell phone. I think Colton wanted to make sure that he was the only boyfriend in her "Fave 5"

With a mouth full of raisins, Avery and I are ready to finish our walk.

Here I am taking in the view.

Here's Hannah sharing her phone with Landon. How nice.

Landon smiles when his mommy tickles his belly.

Colton thought his mommy was going to leave him. She was just running to put some things in the car before they went and played.

Smiles from Hannah!

Simon Says...

I watched the big kids play a new game at day care... Simon Says. When they were playing, they stopped to teach me how to stand on one leg!!!

Chatting a Bit

Blowing spaghetti kisses!

Saying Momma

Saying Dadda

I'm a Good Boy!

Spaghetti Time Leads to Bathtime

I finally showed Mommy that I got my appetite back from being sick. We had spaghetti for dinner and boy was it yummy... and a little bit messy.
